Xchange Scotland is part of international networks that have a history going back 80 years. Through this amazing network we offer over 1500 international volunteer projects every year, all over the world. Our international partners are currently working on their programmes for 2012 - and by the end of March 2012 we will have these up on our website - for you to search through....

  • Destinations: Over 40 countries worldwide
  • Cost: £200 + transport to the project

  • When: Throughout the year, mainly between June and October

Call to Glasgow organisations for Summer 2012

Could your organisation use the Xchange factor? In previous years, we have successfully worked alongside a range of charities and organisations to co-ordinate motivated volunteers from overseas to come and work in Scotland. This Autumn we are looking to build relationships with organisations to explore benefiting from groups of international volunteers on projects here in Glasgow in Summer 2012 and beyond.

Long Term Projects

European Voluntary Service (EVS) is a volunteering programme that enables young people to spend up to twelve months volunteering for a charity or organisation in another country in Europe, or even further afield. The programme is fully supported in terms of training and, importantly, finance and is open to young people aged 18-30.

International volunteers in Scotland

A big part of Xchange Scotland's work is building partnerships with organisations here in Scotland - charities, not-for-profits and NGOs. We build these partnerships to see how organisations can benefit from having volunteers from overseas come in to help them on a project.
