The E&C NGO is a Vietnamese non-government organization, and partner of The Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Association (VUSTA). It has developed projects offering improved education for poor children in the Highlands; vocational education for the disabled; traditional playgrounds for poor children; an educational program for disadvantaged youth; and teaching English to children through active learning. It has also managed to establish many professional partnerships that support and promote its program activities.

Renovation of spiritual camp

Volunteers will be working alongside a local spiritualist group to renovate an old church building. Main duties will include plastering, roofing and painting. In the evenings, the group will be welcomed into the village to explore the similarities and differences between their cultures and relationship with God.

Volunteers will work with a homeless girls organization. They will help in English classes, supervise during sport activities and propose and organize other activities. There’s also a possibility to support the project cooker. Work will be from 11am to 6pm. Project has a flexible start which ends 6 months after beginning.

Volunteers will be 1) Helping vegetable and flower farms, cutting grass around rice fields, especially for aged household.

Ancient City of L’Viv (Parks of L’Viv)

Within the world heritage site city park of Stryiski volunteers will clean improve the park through landscaping, cleaning and other activities. Volunteers will also raise awareness of world heritage sites to the local community. Souvigny

For 18 years now, the association Souvigny Grand Site has invited international volunteers to participate in the preparation and the management of a big medieval festival. During this one week the festival attracts about 30 000 visitors. The volunteers will help with the installation, taking care of stands, organizing festive moments and taking down at the end of the festival. This project is challenging and demands a high involvement from volunteers.

Fresques à Nanteuil-les-Meaux

Nanteuil-lès-Meaux is a small town of 5000 inhabitants, located between the city of Meaux and the countryside of the Briard Land. For this first international volunteer project, the volunteers are going to create two frescoes on the hall of the community centre and the wall of the football stadium stands. The topic of the frescoes is solidarity and peace between people. They will get help from the local youth, with whom they will also discover local heritage and visit Paris.
