This is the 3rd year this project is organised, Ciudad Chemuyil is a community that lives according to the principles of sustainability and respect for the environment. For the past 2 years the community was very impressed by the presence of a group of international volunteers and the project was very successful. In the past volunteers have created many social and cultural activities for the local children and young people. Teaching them about different subjects such as recycling waste, languages (English, French, Italian, etc), arts, painting, typical dances.

GDL for a City of Equality

Volunteers will organise and participate in workshops with local youngsters to exchange ideas and to give opportunities to young people living in a globalised world. International volunteers will help in the organisation of public concerts in the city as well as restoring public spaces to make them more beautiful and friendly. Together with young people volunteers will help to try and prevent graffiti in the area and support cleaning campaigns to promote awareness about the importance of having a clean and beautiful city.

Intercultural Forum Cancun

This year the host welcomes a group of International Volunteers to participate in activities to promote intercultural exchange through different themes such as education, arts, cultural expressions and science looking to improve the quality of life of local families through education. Volunteers will also participate in the organisation of an intercultural forum and will be part of the event to celebrate the independence of Mexico. International Volunteers will participate with local youngsters, in a campaign to promote intercultural exchanges in communities in Cancun City.
