A place for 1 volunteer in 9-month project in Lithuania – this Call is very urgent as participant is expected to arrive as soon as possible, starting from now till the end of February 2017. All costs are covered: travel, accommodation, food and pocket money are provided by the Hosting organisation within EVS programme. Visa invitation letter is provided (if visa is needed).
Hosting organization: NGO National institute for social integration (NISI) creates and applies social innovations that support integration of persons from various socially vulnerable groups within the manifold society. NISI has convoked the initiative team, composing from office and external experts, in order to ensure the aim. NISI is distinctive by application of the complex problem-solving pattern, direct inclusion of the socially vulnerable groups and youth in the civic activities. The mission of the organization is implemented by:
Supporting society and socially vulnerable groups for interaction and developing mutual understanding;
Promoting active participation, inclusion of the socially vulnerable groups within active economic and social activities;
Organizing non-formal Human Rights education;
Integrating social entrepreneurship as a solution for the local marginalized groups – Roma, persons with mobility disability.
We are members of EU Integration Forum, UNITED for Intercultural Action. Organization simultaneously runs 4 different programs:
Journalism education program;
Human rights education (All different-all equal; No Hate Speech Movement initiated by Council of Europe; Living Library, Peer to Peer education based on Human rights and non-formal education);
Social innovation laboratory MEDUS in the Antalieptė valley.

Participant age: 18 – 30.
A place for 1 volunteer in a 2-month project in Slovenia starting from September 2016. All costs are covered: travel, accommodation, food and pocket money are provided by the Hosting organisation within EVS programme. Visa invitation letter is provided (if visa is needed).
The project “Fun Fun Fun” is focused on promoting the effects and benefits of voluntary work as opportunities for young people to learn, gain experiences, skills and competencies. This will be an important subject for EVS voluteers, they will strive to include this in their work.
Main activities of EVS volunteers:
A. Street work
Youth street work is aimed to the development of such activities on the street, which enliven and enrich the daily lives of young people, with the necessary living information, dialogue, socializing, support and advice on their life path. Activities are carried out several times a week on the streets, playgrounds and parks and in the surrounding villages.
B. Youth work in the daily center
Youth work in the day center offers a space for socializing young people, tools, activities and informators who inform and provide a stimulating environment for the young generation, informal education, discussion and support. Activities are carried out several times a week in the daily center of MC ZOS.
C. Work in the organizational team of the youth center
Working in an organization such as a youth center, offers an insight into a wide range of regular activities, projects, changing teams and the involvement of volunteers. It also offers the possibility of planning the various stages of preparation, implementation and evaluation of individual activities, cooperation with many organizations and individuals.
D. Activities carried out in other organizations
The MC ZOS collaborates with partner organizations to offer a wide range of content (an international, intercultural, entrepreneurship, diversity, leisure, sports, culture, creativity), reaching a wider audience, information on the work of the youth center and the promotion Youth unites! | Mladost združuje! of their contents. Work in other organizations gives volunteers possibility to cooperate with other institutions and learn about their functioning.
The responsibilities of volunteers are:
Prepare, organize and implement activities
To inform young people and converse with them on various topics (eg .: international mobility, intercultural, leisure, youth)
Implement a guerrilla campaign in the local environment, public performances, creative, music workshops and games, tournaments, linguistic activities in foreign languages
Support the implementation of the MC ZOS’s activities
Establish multi-media products (posters, photos, videos)
Prepare content and materials for the implementation of activities, performances
Develop promotional plans, content
Work in a team and individually
Write a blog
Promote programs of E +, EVS and other, inform young people about international opportunities
Slovenian lessons will be offered to the volunteers.
Participant age: 18 – 30.
