There are varities of works in this project. The main work is an environmental work in association with Saradadevi Community Forest Group. Volunteers will work together with the local people at the forest to help in plantation, taking care of trees, making fire lines, removing unnecessary grass etc. We have started to build a community house which will used by the local people as their meeting place. Volunteers also will be involved in the seasonal agricultural work to help to plant and harvest crops.

Martyrs Memorial Park 4

FFN started to build a multi-purpose building here in 2002. Now this building construction work is at its final stage. We have taken it as a model project. It will be a house built by volunteers. We are also developing an attractive garden around the building. Aswell volunteers will help in day-to-day work in the park i.e. gardening, clearing of picnic spots and feeding to animals in mini zoo aswell as other similar tasks.

Bhorle 4

There are varieties of works in Bhorle project: 1. Physical work to build more facilities in camp house - i.e new rooms, painting, gardening etc. 2. Educational activities in local primary school - i.e. teaching English, sport, music etc. 3. Environmental awareness activities with local women’s group (working together and avoiding waste... volunteers are welcome to present their own ideas!).

Pokhara 4

The main work of this project is to help to build more facilities in Asha Orphanage Home. This year volunteers will help to make a wall and playground for orphanage home children. Volunteers will alos care for orphanage children, play with them, teaching sport, music, helping them to get ready to go school and taking them back from school.

Volunteer networking

Building a youth training centre

Cultural Festival

Campaigning and Workshops

Volunteers will be helping deliver workshops and awareness raising sessions to local schools. The themes that will be worked with include social inclusion and youth development. The volunteers will be assisting in the poster writing workshops and also the visits to educational institutions.

Christmas camp of intercultural learning
