The moment we've been waiting for has arrived.... (drum roll)...
...The international volunteer projects for 2012 are up live on our site - and open for applications :-)
The application process is very straightforward:
- Go to the Search Projects link to get to the search engine. Go through the projects there (by country, theme or date) and choose the ones you want to go on. To find out all the details about a project, follow the yellow 'See More Info' link on the project summaries. Take a note of the project codes of your chosen projects to add to your Application Form in order of preference (1st Choice, 2nd Choice...)
- Go to the Application Form and fill in your details. Before you submit the form, make sure you have a look at the general conditions for participation. The sooner you can get your application form to us, the more chance you have of getting a place on your 1st Choice project.
- From there we will send your application on to our partner organisation in the country you applied for. Usually it only takes 1 week to hear back from our partner organisation – although it can take longer. As soon as you are offered a place on a project, we will need to receive the £200 project fee before we can confirm your place.

Some projects have an Extra Fee - to cover extra costs for certain projects. This is usually around £100 - check the project details for more info. This Extra Fee is paid to the host organisation on arrival at the project itself.
