On December 10, 1948 the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Guinness World Records describes the UDHR as the “Most Translated Document” in the world.
We are planning to mark the 10th December – World Human Rights Day and the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights – with events centred around the Loesje International ‘Picture Your Rights’ competition.
The ‘Picture Your Rights’ competition is an international competition run by Loesje International. The point of the competition was to assemble images – on the theme of Human Rights – from all over the world that connect, beyond language or nationality.
Xchange Scotland is planning to give some workshops based around Human Rights and this competition to schools or youth groups. If you are interested in getting involved, please do not hesitate to contact us.
