Join Loesje Scotland
Loesje Scotland is a group connected to the Dutch international network of creative activists. Active in over 30 countries, Loesje has a twenty five year history of making people, think, laugh and question by any means possible and now Scotland is in on the act!
Greek Youth Exchange - 20-29th August 2008
Xchange Scotland have received approval for an Environmental Youth Exchange in Greece from the 20-29th August. The project will bring together 50 young people from Greece, Portugal, Turkey, Italy and Scotland with the aim of promoting European citizenship and environmental volunteering.
The project will be called CINFEL - which stands for the Coastal Initiative for Non-Formal Environmental Learning.
Kingslink Carnival IVP - 17-31st August 2008
Xchange Scotland are delighted to announce their first International Volunteer Project (IVP) we are hosting in Scotland in 2008 - the Kingslink Community Carnival.
This project will see 12 international volunteers coming from many countries round the world to live and work together in Glasgow to help promote and organise a community Carnival in the Knightswood area of the city.
Loesje Summer Camp - 19th July-3rd August 2008
This July, Xchange Scotland is pleased to be hosting the annual Loesje Summer Camp.
The Loesje Summer Camp brings together members of Loesje from around Europe and further afield. The camp will be a creative and innovative gathering where the programme will be developed organically by the participants at the start of the project.
Xchange Scotland at CIVICUS Youth Assembly
The CIVICUS Youth Assembly and World Assembly brought nearly 200 young delegates from around the world together for an amazing week in Glasgow in June. The aim of the Assembly is to provide a global forum encouraging young people to engage with critical challenges facing their communities, countries and the world. The Assembly featured young delegates from 74 different countries representing many different organisations - including Xchange Scotland.
