On December 10, 1948 the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Guinness World Records describes the UDHR as the "Most Translated Document" in the world.

We are planning to mark the 10th December - World Human Rights Day and the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights - with events centred around the Loesje International 'Picture Your Rights' competition.....

Thanks to all who came to the exhibition to celebrate 1 year of Loesje Scotland and 25 years of Loesje International.

For those unable to make it, there was a celebration of the work made possible by the Youth In Action programme. The event exhibited the work of Loesje Scotland done through Youth In Action projects in posters, magazines and books. It also featured the 25 year history of Loesje.....

Thank you to everyone who turned up for the AGM. Amongst the '1st BIRTHDAY' balloons, we looked back on our first year of activities and had some very positive debate about the future of Xchange Scotland.

Xchange Scotland are delighted to be able to inform you of a new programme being run jointly by VSO and the British Council, Global Xchange. Global Xchange is a fully funded and supported programme that allows young people, 18-25, the chance to volunteer for three months in the UK and three months in a developing country.
